Halloween is just around the corner! I wish it felt more like fall here in Arizona, but I am thankful that it is below 100 degrees! I see people decorating their houses for Fall and Halloween and I start to get excited about the cooler weather. Stores and ready for Christmas, haha but the rest of us are still looking forward to Thanksgiving first. Our girls are older so I am not planning out costumes for them to wear. I love hearing what my niece and nephews are dressing up as because I miss those days of princesses, superheroes and every other costume they wore. Insert sigh…. When people tell you to enjoy every moment with your kids it is true! Before you know it they won’t be living with you and you will miss them even if they live 30 minutes away.
Gluten-free Halloween candy:
This starts the time of the year when mini candies are everywhere. This can lead to trouble because our trusted treats in regular sizes are gluten-free, however, the mini counterpart might not be. Make sure you read every label and check the ingredients to ensure the mini versions are gluten-free.
If you want to buy your own Nima Sensor, use code gggf.me to get a discount!
Other Halloween Options:
Have you heard of the Teal pumpkin movement? We display a teal pumpkin on our porch to let kiddos and parents know we have allergen-free treats at our house. Target and Walmart have a big selection of small toys that would be perfect for trick or treaters. I love the vampire teeth and eyeball erasers! Also, Enjoy Life Foods have mini treats that are top allergen free. You have to order from their website to get them in time for Halloween.
Happy Fall and Happy Halloween! Make everyday special in some way!
