I’m Gluten Free in New York on a school trip with my daughter and her theater group!
I think I have finally recovered from my trip to NYC! I was blessed to be able to go with my oldest daughter and her theater group for 5 wonderful days! We saw so many beautiful places, met incredible people and ate some delicious food! I think I left a piece of my heart there! New York City will hold a special place for me for sure! I’m not saying I didn’t miss my hubby or my other daughter because I did, but it was definitely an amazing trip! New York will be a destination I long to travel to again!
Here are some of the highlights:

Arriving in NYC with my beautiful oldest daughter 🙂

Empire State Building! So Pretty!

The Green Lady- She is beautiful and very Tall!!!

So beautiful!

Such and emotional tour if you have never done it! It was very hard to go through but amazing!

Pizza from L’Asso! So yummy! And we sat at the same table Taylor Swift did the night before!

Tavern Di Bacco in NYC made me gluten free pasta with chicken! It was yummy!! All it was missing was a glass of wine! (school trip no wine)
Since we were on a planned tour there were a few places I wanted to eat at but we didn’t have time! I am looking forward to going back to try them! We ate at Schnippers Quality Kitchen one night and they had a large GF menu! I had Chicken fingers and Sweet potato fries! Yum! They have a separate frier so that was exciting! We also ate at Taverna Di Bacco owned by Chef Maurizio Crescenzo who was on Chopped. He made me a delicious GF pasta with veggies and chicken. He personally delivered my food ahead of the group which made me feel good about eating GF in an Italian Restaurant!
I hope if you travel to NYC you will get to try some amazing restaurants like I did and meet some wonderful people along the way!
