Michelle from Green Chef contacted me to see if I would be interested in receiving a box of their new keto meals and reviewing them. I researched their company and discovered that they are all organic and sustainably source their ingredients! This sounded like something right up my alley! My family enjoys eating a ketogenic (keto) diet and I was excited to Nima test the meals to ensure they were gluten free.
The Green Chef Keto meal box arrived at my door. The packaging is awesome! I love that the inside insulation is made from recyclable material! Everything has labels with color coordinating stickers so I knew which food went with which recipe. Huge bonus factor there for people who don’t cook much. Each meal has a time listed to prep and cook on it and they were right on the money with the correct time!
Meal number one:
The first meal I made was the Chicken Fajita Salad. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was delicious. The instructions were easy to follow and included pictures with every step. I only wish it had a little more lime juice to add, but it was still yummy. The portion was large enough to feed 3 adults for lunch! The instructions state that the meals have a possibility of being cross-contaminated since they are packaged in a shared facility, but they do everything possible to use best practices in safe food handling. I used my Nima to test everything before I sampled 🙂% | % | % | % | % | % | % | %
