Gluten-free tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts! It looks like you spent hours in the kitchen making it! In reality, it goes together in about 20 minutes! I love the coffee flavor and all the decadence the whipped cream has to offer. I use Schar gluten-free ladyfingers to make the delicious cake layers.

Jump to RecipeWHAT IS TIRAMISU?
Tiramisu is an Italian dessert made from whipped eggs and cream, layered with ladyfingers soaked in coffee and liquor topped with cocoa powder… I am seriously drooling right now thinking about it! Tiramisu in Italian means cheer me up or pull me up, which I can understand since I feel happy every time I eat it!
WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE?
First, you need to brew some espresso.
I use Schar Gluten Free ladyfingers to soak with espresso and coffee liquor for the cake layer.
In a bowl, put the espresso and coffee liquor. Allow it to cool a little so you don’t burn your fingers.
Next, whip the heavy cream in a bowl. Set aside. Then whip the eggs in a new bowl. Combine them by carefully folding them with a spatula so the whipped cream doesn’t flatten.
Soak the ladyfingers in the coffee liquor mixture until they are infused but not soggy.
Layer them on the bottom of your pan.
Pour a layer of the cream mixture over the top of the cookie layer. Continue until you have 2 cookie layers and 2 cream layers.
Dust the top with cocoa powder and shaved chocolate if you desire.
Voila! The Gluten Free Tiramisu is ready to put in the fridge for a few hours before serving.

minutesIngredients
5 Eggs
5 Egg Yolks
1/3 cup Sugar
3 500 g Containers Marscapone Cheese
5 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
1 cup Coffee Liquor
4 cups Espresso
4 pkgs Schar Gluten Free Ladyfingers
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
Shaved Chocolate to taste
Directions
- Step One: Brew some strong coffee or espresso
Step Two: Crack 5 eggs and 5 egg yolks into a mixing bowl.
Step Three: Add 1/3 cup of sugar.
Step Four: Whip until a thick ribbon forms in eggs (soft peaks)
Step Five: Add Marscapone cheese and beat. I leave my mascarpone on the counter for a few minutes so it is softer.
Step Six: Whip the cream until it has stiff peaks.
Step Seven: Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 2 tbsp vanilla to sweeten.
Step Eight: Combine Marscapone/Egg mixture and Whip cream together
Step Nine: Soak Schar ladyfingers in espresso (If you want you can add expresso-flavored alcohol. I use Kahlua) until they have absorbed some coffee but are not falling apart. Continue until the bottom of the pan is covered.
Step Ten: Put a layer of the cream mixture to cover the ladyfingers.
Step Eleven: Add another layer of espresso-soaked ladyfingers. Cover with a second layer of cream mixture.
Step Twelve: Dust the top layer with cocoa powder or shaved dark chocolate.
Enjoy!
This recipe makes 2 8×10 pans of gluten free Tiramisu. If you want to only make one pan, cut the recipe ingredients in half. I usually make it for a Birthday party or Christmas so need to feed a lot of people.
I hope you love one of my favorite desserts! Just writing this out makes me want to make it right now!
As Always,
Best Wishes for Gluten Free Dishes!
