Thanksgiving dinner is so delicious but what do you do with all of the leftovers? Here is a great way to combine all of the flavors of Thanksgiving into one! It is quick to make and everyone loves a one-pot dinner! Let’s make this fantastic Thanksgiving leftover casserole!
I think this is the best way to use the delicious food from Thanksgiving. Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the ingredients listed as you can customize this to what you have and add in a few frozen vegetables to make it a whole new meal. This scrumptious casserole is the ultimate leftover Thanksgiving dish and ranks right up there with our family with turkey sandwiches. And it is such an easy recipe!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS THANKSGIVING LEFTOVER CASSEROLE:
A Casserole Dish- I have a deep pan that is perfect for holding all the delicious layers!
Turkey leftovers but if you don’t have any you can always use a rotisserie chicken. No one will know lol.
Mashed Potatoe leftovers
Sweet Potatoes
Stuffing leftovers
Leftover green bean casserole
Any leftover vegetables such as Brussels sprouts, leftover green beans, corn, peas. You can easily add in a package of frozen veggies if you don’t have these.
Gravy- you can easily make a packet of gluten-free gravy mix if you don’t have this.
Parmesan Cheese or shredded cheddar cheese- I also topped mine with shredded parmesan cheese for extra deliciousness.
Leftover cranberry sauce
Your serving size will depend on how many of each leftover ingredient you have. 🙂
HERE’S HOW YOU MAKE THIS LEFTOVER THANKSGIVING CASSEROLE:
Spray your large casserole dish with olive oil spray.
Layer the leftovers into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. I like to start with vegetables on the bottom, then turkey and gravy just to keep everything moist, and top it with mashed potatoes.
Top it with the parmesan cheese if desired.
Cover your pan with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes then uncover for the remaining time.
Bake it in a 350 degree preheated oven for 45 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
Serve it and top with extra gravy and cranberry sauce if desired.

HOW DO I STORE THIS CASSEROLE:
Store the leftover casserole in an airtight container. I also think this is the perfect way to save Thanksgiving for later! You can freeze this in your freezer then heat it at a later date and enjoy holiday leftovers all over again. It’s also perfect for a busy night when you need to get food on the dinner table quickly.
HOW DO I MAKE THIS COMFORTING CASSEROLE IF I DON’T HAVE GRAVY?
If you don’t have gravy, you can easily make it creamy and delicious with two options. The first option is to mix in two cans of cream of chicken soup- the gluten-free kind. The second option is to make a rue in a pot and make a cheesy sauce to pour over the ingredients for a delicious comfort food option. If the stuffing is dry you can also mix in a little chicken stock to add more moisture.
WHAT SHOULD I PAIR THIS EASY LEFTOVER TURKEY CASSEROLE RECIPE WITH?
I think this Thanksgiving leftovers casserole recipe is delicious all on its own with a little gravy and cranberry sauce on the top! You could always add in a big house salad to add in more vegetables. Leftover dinner rolls would also be fantastic to dip the gravy in.
