This gluten-free mascarpone honey sauce is perfect for dipping lamb into! It is sweet and creamy and just adds that extra oomph to delicious grilled meats! I also have included a keto version as well!
This sauce made from mascarpone cheese, honey, and spices is so delicious! I serve it with lamb, but you could make it to serve with any meat! It is smokey and sweet. The perfect balance of taste!
Mascarpone is one of my favorite cheeses. I use it to make sweet dishes like Tiramisu and savory sauces like this one. It is beautifully creamy and mild. It is the perfect choice to go in this sauce because it melts slowly into the warm lamb that I am going to serve it with.
Mascarpone cheese is an Italian cheese. You can find different varieties of it in the store. It tastes like a very creamy mild cream cheese. Don’t buy the variety that is used for desserts because it melts faster! I use the same one in my Tiramisu as I do in this sauce.
This gluten-free mascarpone honey sauce recipe is based on Giada De Laurentis’ recipe.
I hope you love this deliciously creamy sauce as much as we do! My hubby could eat it all by itself haha!
Here are my favorite Lamb Recipes to pair it with:

If you would like to make a keto version, substitute the honey for a few drops of Monkfruit liquid sweetener! It tastes just as good and less carbs!
