Kitchen knife

Oven mitts

Measuring cups

Baking Dish

Whisk

Spatula

The Ingredients Needed Are:

8 large Russet Potatoes

1 yellow onion- chopped (about 1 cup)

olive oil

2 cloves of garlic- minced

4 TBSP butter

3 TBSP gluten free flour

2 Cups Whole Milk

1 Cup Heavy Cream

Salt and White Pepper

1 1/2 Cups Dubliner Cheese Shredded

1 1/2 Cups Gruyere Cheese Shredded

¼ Cup of Parmesan Cheese Shredded

Chives 

Parsley

Gluten Free Breadcrumbs

Ingredients

  • 8 large Russet Potatoes
    1 yellow onion- chopped (about 1 cup)
    olive oil
    2 cloves of garlic- minced
    4 TBSP butter
    3 TBSP gluten free flour
    2 Cups Whole Milk
    1 Cup Heavy Cream
    Salt and White Peppe
    r1 1/2 Cups Dubliner Cheese Shredded
    1 1/2 Cups Gruyere Cheese Shredded
    ¼ Cup of Parmesan Cheese Shredded
    Chives 
    Parsley
    1/2 Cup Gluten Free Breadcrumbs

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
    Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray or rub it with olive oil.
    In a deep-sided pan, saute the garlic and onions in olive oil.
    Cook them until they are soft.
    Add in the butter.
    Stir it until it melts. 
    Add in the flour and whisk until combined.
    Cook it for a few minutes while stirring.
    Add in the cream and milk.  
    Whisk.
    It will start to become thick.
    Add the cheese, except the parmesan, and continue to whisk until it is melted and combined.
    Set aside.
    Peel the potatoes and slice them with a mandolin or food chopper.
    Layer the potatoes in the baking dish.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cover with a layer of cheese sauce.
    Repeat until all of the potatoes and cheese sauce are in the pan.
    Top with shredded parmesan and breadcrumbs.
    Cover the pan with foil.
    Bake for 30 minutes covered.  
    Remove the foil and continue to bake for 20 more minutes.
    The top should be brown and the sides bubbly with cheese sauce.
    Garnish with chives and fresh parsley before serving.
