Time Needed to Make This Recipe:

This recipe will take about 45 minutes to make.

Equipment Needed:

You will need the following to make this meal:

Cutting board

Kitchen knife

Oven mitts

Measuring cups

A large pot

Tongs

A ladle

The Ingredients Needed Are:

1fillet of cod- cubed

1 fillet of salmon-cubed

1 fillet of halibut-cubed

1 lb large shrimp

½ bag frozen seafood mix

A pinch of red pepper flakes

3 TBSP Olive oil

1 Onion- minced

1 Bell Pepper- chopped

3-4 Cloves of garlic- minced

Salt and Pepper

1 28oz can of fire-roasted tomatoes and their juice.

2 8 oz jars of clam juice

¼ Cup tomato paste

1 bay leaf

1 box chicken stock

1 TBSP Italian Seasoning

1 handful parsley- chopped

Ingredients

  • 1fillet of cod- cubed
    1 fillet of salmon-cubed
    1 fillet of halibut-cubed
    1 lb large shrimp
    ½ bag frozen seafood mix
    A pinch of red pepper flakes
    3 TBSP Olive oil
    1 Onion- minced
    1 Bell Pepper- chopped
    3-4 Cloves of garlic- minced
    Salt and Pepper
    1 28oz can of fire-roasted tomatoes and their juice.
    2 8 oz jars of clam juice
    ¼ Cup tomato paste
    1 bay leaf
    1 box chicken stock
    1 TBSP Italian Seasoning
    1 handful parsley- chopped

Directions

  • Use a large pot and put it on a burner on medium heat.
    Add a drizzle of Olive oil.
    Add garlic and onion.
    Saute for a few minutes.
    Add in the red pepper.  
    Saute for a few minutes.
    Add in Salt and Pepper.
    Add in the can of tomatoes.
    Stir.
    Add in the clam juice.  
    Stir.
    Add in the chicken stock.
    Stir.
    Add in the wine.
    Stir.
    Add in the Italian seasoning.
    Stir.
    Add in the tomato paste.
    Stir.
    Add in red pepper flakes.
    Cover the pot and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Bring the liquid to a boil.
    Add in any frozen seafood first as it will take longer to cook.
    Cover with a lid and allow to cook for a few minutes.
    If you are adding in clams or muscles, cover them with the lid after adding, and do not eat any of them that don’t open.  
    Add in your shrimp last as they only take a few minutes to cook.  
    Once everything is cooked.  Pour it into serving bowls.
    Garnish with fresh parsley.
